Biomedical Service Representative

A global distributor and service provider of Laboratory and Ultrasound equipment is looking for an experienced Biomedical Service Representative.

Responsibilities:

• In-house and Field Service repair of laboratory equipment
• On-site installation of laboratory equipment.
• Provide instrument and sample preparation training to customers.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical and applications issues in the field.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Computer literacy. Ability to self-motivate and self-direct on routine duties.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Education and other Requirements:

• Medical Technologist background in clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
• Associate's Electronics degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Military Electronics Training or other related training are acceptable.
• 2-3 years of medical electronics experience a must. Specific training will be provided to the right candidate. 
• Valid Drivers License.
